Minotaur
Minotaur

Physical Characteristics: Minotaurs are large, bulky, bovine creatures. They possess muscular bodies and powerful limbs; however, they are limited by their hooved feet that give them poor agility. They are covered with brown, black, or gray fur, have horns protruding from their heads, and a long, hairy tail on their lower back. Minotaurs' eyes are usually red or black. Full-grown minotaurs are known to be between six-and-a-half and seven-and-a-half feet tall, and can weigh between 250 and 400 lbs.

Social Attributes: Above all other races, minotaurs value honor greatly. Most minotaurs will give their life to prevent breaking their word. They are very violent, however, and will honorably kill anyone who provokes them. A minotaur will usually strive to lead a group using his superior strength and combat ability, but if he believes another is better suited to leading he will humbly step down. Also, as a race, minotaurs tend to distrust but begrudgingly respect magic.

Roleplaying Notes: Minotaurs make excellent group leaders, as stated above. Remember to role-play their strict sense of honor and fight-first-ask-questions-later attitude. They are usually motivated by some wrong caused to them in the past, an honorable cause they believe in, or simply for the glory of battle.
