Physical Characteristics: Halflings are slender, small people with fine features and, in the case of males, excess foot hair. All hobbits have brown or blond hair, accompanied by brown, green, or blue eyes. They range from two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half feet tall, and weigh from 60 to 150 pounds.
Social Attributes: Hobbits have an unsurpassed love for adventuring. They are storytellers by nature, and love to collect new tales to spin at the local tavern. Most hobbits are mesmerized by anything ancient, mysterious, or magical. They are conversationalists, always chatting with a neighbor across the fence or having tea with gnomes. Eating meals and collecting things are typical hobbit hobbies.
Roleplaying Notes: Hobbits make great characters for several reasons. They offer great variety, in their personalities, their motives, and their skills. You should try to act as the group diplomat, as hobbits can get along with almost anyone.
