Physical Characteristics: Elves are tall, slender creatures. Their skin is pale, either white, light green, or occasionally, light blue or gray. Their hair is silver, gray, white, brown, black, or blond. Elven eyes come in a wide variety, usually brown, blue, silver, green, or gray. They are between five and six feet in height, and weigh from 90 pounds to 150 pounds.
Social Attributes: Elves are curious, inventive, and highly emotional. They are jolly and frivolous in times of peace, and they're sullen and tearful in times of war. In all things, they tend to take the subtle, quiet approach rather than the direct one. They are highly skilled at magic, and love to read and learn. Many elves are talented at warfare, especially with archery and swordsmanship. Elves as a people are friendly towards all but goblins, kobolds, ogres, hobgoblins, orcs, and dwarves, all of whom they harbor ancient grudges against.
Roleplaying Notes: Elves love the excitement of adventure, so many decide to leave their homelands in search of it at least once during their long lifespans. They may seek fame, fortune, glory, or just enjoyment in distant lands, or a collection of stories to tell back home. Your character may want to hone his skills to return with respect after a hundred years or so. Or maybe he seeks powerful magical artifacts. There are no end to the motivations behind a youthful and energetic, adventure-seeking elf.
