STEP ONE: CHOOSE A RACE
Select and record a race from the list on the main page. Record any special characteristics this race has, and the base attributes of this race.
STEP TWO: CHOOSE A PROFESSION
Select and record a profession from the list on the main page. Record free skills this profession receives, as well as starting equipment.
STEP THREE: SELECT SKILLS AND IMPROVE ATTRIBUTES
Using twenty points, buy extra skills you'd like your character to have and improve the base attributes derived from your race. Skills cost a point each, and attributes are improved on a point-for-point basis. Afterwards, record the skill bonuses you get for high attribute levels.
(optional) STEP FOUR: WRITE A CHARACTER BIO
Write the life story of your character, or a short story with him or her as the main character. This helps greatly to add depth and give you a feel for his or her persona.
(optional) STEP FIVE: DRAW A CHARACTER PORTRAIT
Draw a sketch of your character. This is great for developing a mental picture of your character, and helps others visualize him/her as well.
