Physical Characteristics: Centaurs are tall and muscular creatures, half-human, half-horse. They have tan skin, hair ranging from black to brown to blond, and blue, green, hazel, or brown eyes. The height of a centaur is usually between six and eight-and-a-half feet. They weigh between 200 and 280 pounds.
Social Attributes: Centaurs generally live only among their own kind, and occasionally with elves and fae. An adventuring centaur is a rare thing, and those that do become adventurers tend to be withdrawn and quiet, not easily befriending strangers of other races. All centaurs are at ease with nature, and usually prefer a forest setting to a town or city. They are intruiged by learning, especially in the fields of astronomy and magic.
Roleplaying Notes: When playing a centaur, consider why they would want to leave their peaceful forest life to adventure. Centaurs are not greedy, but they do hold a grudge against their enemies: are they out to claim revenge against the murderers of loved ones? Are they on a mission to protect the forests? Maybe they were exhiled from their homelands for crimes against the community. Remember that centaurs have a strong sense of patience and non-violence. They will work around their problems by thinking instead of forcing their way through with power.
